In the beginning...

Well, here it is. In all of it's not so fabulous glory. It isn't much, but it is a beginning. We are Billy and Emily, hence BiMily. I too, thought it was magical and clever. I thought about calling it many things:

"The Pickle Princess" Obviously because Avery was born on National Pickle Day. SERIOUSLY. The man of the house didn't dig this name so much, because he calls her pumpkin. I wanted to call her pickle before she was born. Then, when I was digging around trying to come up with a clever blog name, I discovered that Nov. 14th is National Pickle Day. It was a sign. It was meant to be...or so I thought. But Billy did bring up a good point. It isn't just about her, so we had to come up with something else. Besides, she has the cutest, roundest pumpkin shaped head. Pickle really doesn't fit her for a nickname...Rest assured though, she is every bit of the princess that the title implies.

"Mayhem and Foolishness" from my fav. TV show at the moment, Clean House. Afterall, if I don't have the energy to clean my own house, at least I can watch other people doing it on TV. Shout out Ms. Niecy!! Anyhoo, the title sounds cool and flashy, but we are actually pretty boring. So we didn't want anyone to sue us for misrepresenting our product. We know how much of a let down it is when to find the perfect pair of shoes...but only get to wear them once becasue they are too painful and crippling to continue on with the torture. I really wish there was a shoe rental place, so we could test the product in it's true intended purpose before purchase. But then that's all kinds of gross, 'cause we never know where someone's feet have been (or haven't been ie a bathtub or shower)

"The 2P Parade" For Kadin's nickname Peanut and Avery's nickname Pumpkin...but what happens when we have another baby and his/her nickname is scooter or boobie. Then we have a huge problem...not of monumental proportions, like the current state of the economy or the war in Iraq, but still, huge to me none the less. Then the name would be all wacky like "The 2P Parade and scooter" And no one likes a wack blog name.
So here it is...BiMily. In all it's fab-o-less-ness. I am pretty proud of meeself. And since we all know the real reason you are reading this blog is for the updates on the princess, heeer you go: She started walking about a month or so ago. That's right peeps. She was walking at about 9 months. With ZERO encouragement from mom and dad. Kadin didn't walk until 18 months, for obvious reasons...and that was hard enough. Avery is into EVERYTHING. And EVERYTHING is hazardous or potentially deadly. Like the TV dinner trays. The really heavy I-just-have-to-touch-them-until-they-fall-over-onto-my-head-dinner trays. Why? Who knows. But it just isn't a normal day in the Gazzaway kitchen until I have fussed at her to stop. Her latest trick is sneaking up the stairs. Speaking of stop...she is doing really well with the baby signs. They started teaching her in daycare how to use baby signs and I must admit it is pretty cool when Avery "tells" me she wants milk or wants to play or wants her ball or wants more. Here are a few recent photos....

Love the new Site/Blog. You made it very nice. Oh my how much little Avery has grown and she is just absolutely Beautiful. Can't believe she is almost a year old. Only one more month. Gosh need your address to send her a first year Birthday card. That is if you would like to send it. Hey Pumpkin is cute and so is Pickles. I like Pickles instead of just Pickle though. Don't think I have ever seen a Pumpkin Christmas Ornament though. If I do will have to get one for her. Thanks for the new site. We Love you guys and do hope to see you all again one day....
